End of Summer Giveaway

OK, so it's a little past summer. We've had our first snow in the mountains....that must mean winter is coming soon.
I won the four season's angels from Vivian, Quilts in a Mug blog  early this year. I finally got this one quilted and bound!! Of course, I started with summer 'cause it's my favorite season. I haven't quite figured out what sort of mouth to add to her.

I know I won't be making any more of these so I thought I'd pass them on as a giveaway. When I won them from Vivian she had used one of the fabric kits. I used one more, so the fabric you see should make 2 angels.  These patterns are designed by Joined at the Hip and I have to say, in my opinion, they really put the time into making the directions easy and understandable. They are tops in my book!!

Thank you for dropping by and reading my humble little blog. It's been fantastic getting to know so many of you!!  Many comments have been left lately that are anonymous or no-reply so I haven't been able to respond.  I want you all to know how much I appreciate every single comment!!!
Leave me a message if you'd like to win and I'll draw Saturday evening.

  1. I heard there was snow already in the mountains - we were in the high 70s today - crazy
    Your angel is very cute!
I'll help someone else win, as I'm too buried in commitments for a new pattern.

  14. I have not seen those patterns. They do have a Joined at the Hip look and that is what they are. Some tiny rickrack could make a mouth. Or a heart. I want to add a heart button to my "Grace" piece for her mouth but I have to wait until I get close by JoAnn's. I am not going to drive all that way for a button.

  24. Someone is going to enjoy those angels, and I'm so glad you're passing them on. I've made 10 or 12 over the years, and you made the most time-consuming one. She's cute as can be!

I experimented with different versions of the face (on paper) till I found my preferred version. I embroidered an upside-down "7" for the nose and a "V" for the mouth. So many options.

  35. I love the Joined at the hip patterns. they always turn out wonderful.
I think your angel should have a nice smile on her face. The last angels I made only had the eyes on them and i am still trying to decide if I should put smiles on them.Guess I could draw some in with water soluble markers.
Thanks for the chance to win.

  36. Snow doesn't seem possible and today's weather is really weird! It is in the high 70's and so humid I feel as though I'm in the tropics! I'm in NC...what gives?! I mean....I don't mind the warm weather as I hate cold but gosh end of October already!
Of course I'd love a chance for a win of these cute patterns.
