Random Musings

Not much sewing going on so I thought I'd post some random photos. Thank goodness for you all I don't do this very often as I do take quite a few pictures. This fiery red maple tree is in our back yard. It is giving us quite a show this fall.
I made a quick trip to my Dad and stepmom's in Moses Lake, WA this past weekend. Her flowers are still trying to bloom.

My adorable neighbor girl and her friend brought me these flowers with the note. They were not collecting money but raising awareness about animal abuse.
I hope you are all enjoying your fall. I'm hoping to get some sewing done this week now that one of our employees is back from vacation.

I LOVE the red leaves on the tree. We don't get any red/orange fall color here at all

Gorgeous tree! We are still waiting for fall to get here - today it was quite hot - about 86!

The tree is just spectular. Our trees changed and the leaves dropped. So much for enjoying the fall colors. LOL

Our leaves are rapidly moving from tree branches to ground. That can only mean one thing--the "W" word is right around the corner. Brrrrrr!
Beautiful photos.

Great pictures, Lori. I've been trying to notice nature more lately, too, and fall is my favorite season.

for me its the color I love when the leaves start to change.
although I was driving up the highway yesterday and the lime green coming out of some of the trees was the dominant color...just beautiful!
so sweet of the little girls to do that
Kathie who hopes you get to sew again this week!

I love seeing photos, Lori! And how sweet of the neighbor girls to take the flowers around. One of my neighbors has a huge maple that is beautiful in Oct (guess I should go look!) that I photographed, enlarged, framed, and hung over my couch. I love that tree.

I wanted to take a picture of our gorgeous trees this year, one was a wonderful orangey red and the one next to it the best yellow - but of course I waited too long and one morning the leaves were gone. Oh well.

i keep thinking that i need to get up on the mountain and take some foliage shots before it's too late . . . if it isn't already.
