13.1

This is not a flattering photo but I am thrilled to tell you all I ran my first half marathon today!! This was before I ran so at least I'm not all sweaty.
I usually keep this quilt related (I went to my favorite quilt show the day before the run and I'll be showing you photos of that show this week) but today I want to tell you that you can accomplish so much more than you think you can.
I NEVER thought I'd be doing this. I NEVER entertained a thought of running 13.1 miles until this summer. I'm here to tell you that you, and only you, make things happen!

This person is no where to be found!

Now go reach for your dreams!!

You are such an inspiration - way to go! I also hope to run (even just 5k) and I keep telling myself that it is all up to me but somehow I keep injuring myself. I am just getting over a foot injury that I have had for almost 1.5 months. I plan on starting my walking programme again next week. I hope I stay injury free!!
