Last year I had a big group at the house and we all made a fun Christmas banner. I enjoyed that so much I thought I'd spend Thanksgiving weekend making another holiday project.
This little table topper designed by
Cheri was in the latest issue of
Primitive Quilts and Projects.
The half pennies at the ends and the twigs and pennies on the sides are wool; the rest is cotton. It was a fun project.
Someone had asked me recently in an email if I was going to do another doll quilt quilt-a-long. I lost that email- I'm so sorry.
It seems there is always so much going on in blogland that I hadn't really given it much thought. I'd love to do it so let me know if you are interested and we'll start after the new year.

I haven't been in blogland long enough to know about your doll quilt QALs, but doll quilt size and starting after the holidays are a combination I could probably even do!
I am working steadily on hand-quilting my Midnight Stars - should be finished by the end of the year. Another doll quilt project would be a fun and satisfying challenge!

I still have to hand quilt the STrawberry Fields QAL but enjoyed it bunches!

I would enjoy doing another of your QALs after the holidays though I have yet to quilt even one of your previous QALs (but two are layered and basted!). You do a good job on putting a QAL together, with wonderful inspiration pieces.

You know I like the Cheri quilt patterns. I know you enjoyed making it. With my company, I did not have a chance to work on a fun project like this.
I think you would have plenty of people interested in another small quilt along like you have done in the past. It is not a big committment of time to make one.

If you do start another quilt along.....it might force me to finish the two I have started. Cheddar Cheese and Crackers just needs the binding put on and I have some piecing left on the second one. But, I love them and would jump into a third if you decide to start one.

Count me in! I've been thinking about a doll quilt wall since that CL article about 25 years ago. I finally got started on it this week with my first small top but I think working on one in a group would be fun.
