Here's my Just Takes 2 blocks for May 1.
And here is my not-so-creative challenge block!! It's a little lonesome looking but it will look great with the other challenge blocks.

Almost 1/2 through hand quilting the third block of Beyond the Cherry Tree. Once I'm done with the motifs and outling the applique I will do some sort of overall quilt pattern.

For those of you joining in how are you coming on your A Little Porch Time house block? I've got the windows and the star left and that is all. I'm excited to see everyone's blocks at the end of the month!!

  1. I love your Just Takes Two blocks!, that one in the middle is really stellar!

I've finished my Porch Time block already and posted it on my blog. Should I have not done that yet? Things are slightly caddywampus with it but that's what makes it primitive, right? Lol

    Happy days to you,
    Sue

  16. Those JT2 blocks are time consuming which puts anything else we plan to work on onto the back burner. Your blocks are looking just great as are your other projects.

  18. You are keeping up on the red and white project. I have read on a couple blogs and Yahoo groups that some think the blocks all look too busy together. How do you feel about it?
