Colors of the Caribbean

I had to do one more post of my trip. I picked a few of my favorites.
I couldn't resist this lovely and sort of wild looking girl. "Who has time to fix your hair! There are 4 ships in port. We gotta make some money!" (Barbara- no reply, sorry you have taken offense at my comments. My niece lived with me for 5 years and many days her hair looked just like this because I didn't have the time to fix it- it takes a lot of work and time! I speak from first hand experience. Also, these people do not have much money and they work hard when the ships are in port-I appreciate that and purchase from them because they have families to support)

Yellow and Blue- lovely!
I hope you liked them!

  9. You have a very creative and informative site. I was taken by surprise by the one picture and caption from your trip. Perhaps the wording can be rethought. I was offended by the comments about the little girl looking 'wild' and the following statement also.

  11. How could you bring yourself to leave there....oh my...the sun and the water and darling "wild" looking girls. I'm sorry there was some offense taken at your comment, I thought it was fine, I'm caucasian but most days my hair looks like that too, lol. I LOVE seeing wild hair! Makes me feel not so alone. I'm so glad you had a wonderful time - it looks marvelous.

  20. GREAT photos and colors..and it seems you've picked up some "negative" commenters as well. You just can't make everyone happy! Her hair is wild, I remember sending my kids off to school and wishing they would have done something with their hair too. Kids are kids! I love seeing them "as is". This is real life.
