I thought it would be fun to take you on a photo tour of the Stitchin' Post. They do such a wonderful job of getting ready ready for the quilt show and all the visitors to the store. They really stock up, that's for sure!
They make sure there are lots of samples.

Lots of fabric!

All the books and supplies you need for classes.

Beautiful trim.
Lovely wool.

Beautiful yarn and supplies for knitting.

And then a bit more of this and that!

They even have a store set up at the high school where the classes take place.

This bottom photo was the raffle quilt. I loved it!!

I hope you enjoyed the tour!

  3. It is a beautiful store, my husband sat on that white bench and waiting for me to shop one year. All the women that came in thought he was so kind to sit and wait. But I really loved that shop with all the awesome wool.....

  7. Thank you for the tour, I remember The Stitching Post well. I have a friend for N. Calif, Judy Reams, she and hubby would go to the Sister show for the week. Judy took classes, Jim went fly fishing. They went every year for years, do you think that you may have met her in a class?

  8. Hi thanks for the visit to my favorite quilt store. I was first there last summer with my sister and could hardly wait to return this summer. We were camping at Detroit lake and crossed the mountain in a terrible rain (and some snow.) My husband was a good scout and sat on a bench for over an hour and a half while I drooled over everything. I would love to go to the quilt show sometime. I will have to plan my trip out around it. Danville Illinois is a long way from Sisters Oregon.

  11. Nice job, Lori. It does photograph very well after all and is a nice shop. I just wish the fabrics weren't so much of that large floral print these days.
