  1. Nyquil and dayquil always makes it worse for me and seems to take the same time to heal.

  3. Dear Hubby had the same thing last week. I'm off to my first big show of the fall next week so I hope I don't get it. It's miserable! I do the Dayquil/Nyquilt route when I get it but he tried Mucinex instead and seemed to have good luck with it. Hope you're feeling up and attem soon!

  5. Yep.....had the same thing last week, too! My doctor said try Mucinex, even though I wasn't phlegmy, but it totally took care of the raw, on-fire throat, and the headache and achy-ness. It also helped me sleep through the night without coughing! I'm using it from now on!

    Feel better soon!

  6. I hope you feel better soon. It seems a lot of people are getting that. We both are coughing, not sure if it is allergies or a cold, but I don't feel sick, so who knows, lol.

  7. Zicam has worked wonders for me several times. That and nighttime Nyquil, tons of Vitamin C and tea. Hope you feel better soon.

  12. No fun, no fun. I haven't had a cold in a long, long time. I used to get them regularly and miserable ones. I think part of it is because I stay at home a lot. Hope you feel better and breath better soon.

  14. and here I thought you were away playing on the long weekend. It must be going around, came to work today and 3 people are sick with nasty colds. Take care, lots of liquids and snuggle under your favorite quilt, that always helps.

  21. That same bug bit me too! Woke up with it this morning and tried to tough it out at school. Back home by mid-morning. Misery loves company, they say, so we can be miserable together. Take care!
