Here's a little quilt I finished while in Ohio. It is from the book Charm School by Country Threads. I reviewed the book here.

 Frosty mugs is complete!
I won this adorable needle keeper from Kaaren at Painted Quilt. Isn't is wonderful?!
I couldn't be more thrilled. Thanks again Kaaren!!

My first blog post on Humble Quilts was February 11, 2009. I just passed the 4 year mark and will celebrate with my own giveaway very soon! That first post has one of my very favorite quilts pictured. Check it out!

Happy Valentines day!

  1. What I like about your Charm School quilt is that the lights within each block have variation of tone so that a block is defined. And that some of the blocks have mediums instead of light. The cheddar/gold in a few blocks is a delightful surprise.

  21. Your little quilts are so cute and I do love the needle keep. I checked out your first post and I do love that quilt also. Of course sawtooth stars are my favorites and someday I want to do a quilt with that zig zag pattern. We started blogging around the same time. Today I will draw for my giveaway. I wonder who will win.

  24. Your snowmen turned out great - like it on the blue plaid. The gold in your blue and white adds so much. I made this one, too, in a way - mine stopped at doll quilt size. What a nice gift for you! Looks like it would mske a dandy teabag wallet, too.

  26. Your little blue quilt is such a beauty. I love that book. That book is what started me off on my precuts club. I went a bit overboard 90 projects over the three sessions I did. I made quilts from that book and just when I was about "done" with my charm projects they published "Country Threads Returns to Charm School". Had to make some pieces from that book too.
Your needle keeper is so cute! Looks like room for everything you need.
LOve that first quilt. Happy blogiversary.
