The "Perfect" Pattern

Thank you so much for the wonderful pattern suggestions. Below the photo is a list with links to many of those quilts. You may find your "perfect" pattern lurking within the links.
Isn't this white wool applique gorgeous?! Nancy from Tom Minor Folk Art designed it and it is in the latest issue of Primitive Quilts & Projects which I won from Nancy.  Unless you are familiar with the pattern you probably wouldn't even notice that not all of my patterns pieces fit, so I improvised. Thank you Nancy!!

  1. Every time I get an issue, I want to make things and then never get around to it, lol. I do want to make things though and love having the magazines in my library to have patterns that I can do later.

Wouldn't that be beautiful with wools as well :0) The white wool block from Nancy is gorgeous with all the plaid, hounds tooth and herringbone wools. Thanks for the all the links, enjoyed the eye candy while sipping my coffee this morning. Have a great day!

  11. I know I don't get a vote but if I did, it would be the Remember Me quilt. I don't know how it would work with your fabric but the border is oh so you.

  18. Love, love Nancy's pattern. She is so clever! I'm making Audra's Iris Garden right now, and its so fun! I'm substituting chickens for the cats though and love the way its turning out. Dreaming of a garden with chickens and beehives someday...

  19. There is an interesting post about the English Basket quilt on Little Welsh Quilts & Other Traditions blog. Here is the copied URL of the post about it: http://littlewelshquiltsandothertraditions.blogspot.com/2011/12/baskets-on-quilts.html
I had fun looking at all the referenced sites - thanks! It'll be fun to watch your quilt as you make it, whatever one you choose.
