Sunriver Sisters Wednesday

So here are photos of the special ladies I am spending the week with.  New friends and old friends and special in every way!

Here's Randy ( old friend)  holding a little quilt we made for her.  She is so generous with her lovely home here.
Ann (new friend)  from California is able to stay focused in a room full of chatty women! A bonus is that she's been running with me too.
Here's Claire (old friend) making a lovely charity quilt and adding wise words to our conversations.
Left to right- Deb- Darlynn-Pat. ( New friends) All three are full of helpful Pinterest, bloglovin, and iPad tricks. They've got twice as many sewing tricks up their sleeves too!  They are from Wisconsin and Georgia. Gotta love the Fargo accent! Lol
Here is how I opted to setup swap friendship star blocks. I love it! It makes me think if the saying, " The road to a friend's home is never far."

This little top makes 8 projects now. I've got one more to show.. Tomorrow. Time for bed.

  13. Did you make the house block ahead of time or since you got to the retreat? A nice setting for the friendship star blocks. The quirkiness of some star points going a different direction gives it a very prim style look. I like!
