Under The Big Top

I only needed to put a simple border on this but I've been busy enjoying summer.
I am thrilled to get it on though. I had two choices and the floral was a little unpredictable so that's the one I decided to go with.
There is nothing predictable about this quilt. Just a lot of fun! (and half square triangles!)
Here's a close up of the border floral. I'm thinking about an all over machine quilting pattern. The pattern is the show in this quilt.

January 2010 several of us starting swapping hst in 2 sizes for this quilt. Good things cannot be rushed.

    Next time you have a sew along maybe a fabric exchange can
    go along with it :0)...after all I am nearly finished with
    the last one ! This turned so great, congratulations on another
    finish.

  20. The border looks great! I love the riot of color in this quilt. It is just so much fun to look at. It sure will be a burst of happy during the colder months when the sun doesn't visit as often.

  24. That border is the perfect choice! Unpredictable it good and this quilt sparkles. The close up is fun to see the CW fabrics, some I have and more that I want! I agree, an all over is a good choice. The quilt speaks for itself :0)
