Quilt Shops

This shop would have been wonderful. It was highlighted in the best quilt shop magazine touting 8000 bolts of fabric! Unfortunately we arrived in Cody, WY after they had closed and left town before it opened.

Feel free to look up Washoe, MT on the map. It is pretty much in the middle of nowhere. I had to stop and snap a photo.

Too bad the hours were so short. I really would have liked to shop here!

  1. I hope the third time's the charm!! : )

  2. I hate when that happens. Last time I hit my favorite store, they were taking things off the shelves for a show, so I was trying to run around and grab what I wanted, before they took it, lol.

  3. That is so disappointing! I remember having 15 minutes in a great repro shop before closing. They didn't offer to stay open later - just enough to whet the appetite!

  4. It seems like that is what happ[ens when we travel too. It would be nice to have them open until 9 p.m. ;-)

  5. Too bad! And there was a clearance sale going on too!

  6. Don't you hate that!! That has happened to me more times than I can name! VERY disappointing!! Better luck next time!

  7. What a shame you couldn't spend time in Cody. I stopped for a day after a week of canoeing and biking in the Tetons and had a great time shopping. Two favorites that I still wear were found there, in the early 90's! If that quilt store was there then, I missed it too! Hoping for better timing along the way, have fun!

  8. It is so sad when you are there and the shop is closed. :( Maybe another trip. Or the trip back home?
