Flowers Sashing Solution

I decided on  homespuns for my half square triangle sashing. The colors in the photo aren't very good but my dark colors are red and blue and I snuck a few greens in too.
I'm happy with my choice and it seems to go really well with my homespun applique backgrounds.

I've got them all made in 2 sizes, and will trim them and add them as I finish the blocks.

So, what do you think?

  16. Hi like your sashings for the blocks.

And I think the bird you found in your car was waiting for the flowers to come out and wanted to be included on that quilt.

  33. I like that you grouped several of the same color HSTs together so your eye sort of travels around and to the block and doesn't jump around. I don't think you can ever go wrong with half square triangles, and I love your blocks.
