Jill's Jewel Box from Jersey

The missing block is now not missing, although it is very subtle.

Same line from Windham, but a little different print and a little lighter. The fabric came from Jill's good friend Susan, which was very fitting as she was so supportive during her illness.
Ah, dear friend, you are missed so much!

If you'd like to see quilts that Jill designed for Windham Fabric or just see some of her personal quilts, I have a Pinterest board called, A Tribute to Jill Reid.

I don't plan on adding a border, (as of right now)

Have a wonderful weekend!

I have a pattern of Jill's (made into a kit) that I bought on a shop hop years ago. One of these days I need to get it out and make the quilt.

  20. What a beautiful tribute you have made for a special friend. Susan's last block made me think that she chose the fabric to fit the personality of Jill. After seeing your Pinterest Board for her, I saw who Jill was. She was a beautiful, talented lady who shared her talent and life with many people. We all have lost someone special.

    Take care .
