From the Mountains of Guatemala

No quilts on my blog today. My angel, Francisco, has purchased and made a delivery of food to our shoe shine boy and his family. If you have no clue what I'm referring to, then check out this post HERE and HERE. We can make a difference in other people's lives, near or far!

I can't read Spanish, but who can mistake the box of Kellogg's frosted flakes?! I thought it was great that my Angel would splurge on something like this. I'm sure they have never eaten it before. I'm not even sure they would have milk, but who needs milk to enjoy frosted flakes?!
Francisco went up after work and used the car lights to unload and snap a few photos. Jaime's dad whispered to Francisco, with tears in his eyes, that it was such a blessing  and a surprise to receive these groceries as he wasn't sure how he was going to feed his family this week.

Many of you sent me money to help this family. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. God Bless you!!

  4. Wonderful to see an update. I bet the kids loved the Frosted Flakes. I m guessing ''zucaritas'' means, more literally ''little suagrs'' or llittle sweeties''. LOL. Sad that the family is short of food even on their farm. So kind of you and Francisco to help.
