My Favorite Quilt from the Sisters Show

This quilt was made by Sarah Fielke and is called A Wing and a Prayer. It was hanging on the outside "wall" of the teachers tent so the quilts looked see-through.  But you get an idea of what a fantastic quilt this is.

I found this online and has the information about it.

This and the next one were also done by Sarah.

I thought the tongues on the border were so unique!

June Jaeger (Jean Well's sister) did this amazing quilt.
What a way to use stripes! Huge pieces too, but so fun!
This beauty was made by Anna of Woolie Mammoth Blog. It was amazing! Nice job Anna!!
I told my friend I was going to meet her outside the tent and who should I see when heading out? The maker of my favorite quilt at the show, Sarah, Sue Spargo and Alex Anderson. I did tell Sarah that her quilt was my fav. What designer doesn't like to hear that?

I'll show you a few of my favorites later this week.

  16. Sarah is mighty talented! How fun to encounter her.
When I meet designers whose patterns I have made, I like to get a signature square and attach it to the back of the project I have made from their pattern.
So how was Sisters this year without the other musketeers? : )

  26. Great quilt! Thanks for sharing... found myself fondly remembering the visits we made to the show over the years! The first year especially left me nearly speechless at the endeavor of even hanging it in such a short period of time. I saw some pics that Sisters Show put out and am particularly interested in a red and white churn dash, that was only partially caught in the photograph. Did you by any chance get that one in your picture collection?
