Sisters Quilt Show- Vintage Quilts

Now that my favorite "Antique Quilts for Sale" booth is no longer a vendor at Sisters during the show I saw a few more hanging that were for sale. By the time I got to them, they had SOLD! Fun to look at though. I don't have any new sewing to show you today so enjoy these lovely and humble quilts.
What's not to love about double pink, poison green and chrome yellow?!
At first glance these all appear to be the same block. Look again!
I adore how these stars sparkle against the blue, somewhat faded and humble background.

A simple 25 patch on point looks more complicated.

This cowboy quilt was not for sale, but one made by the grandma of the owner. Her sister had gotten a cowgirl quilt. I absolutely love this one!

I hope to be back Friday with some completed sewing. Have a wonderful week.

  8. One of my favorite antique quilts was purchased in Sisters. It was one of a pair but I didn't purchase both just one, from a small sidewalk sale.
Thank you for sharing the photos.

  9. I got a kick out of the combo of broken dishes and pinwheel blocks--in totally random order. I tried to discern a pattern to the layout of the two types of blocks, but to no avail.
    Some lovely old quilts!
