Feels Like Autumn Friday!

September arrived and our weather changed like "that'! I got my house decorated for fall since I'll be having a busy month.
This quilt is on my couch right now. I started it in a class with Gwen Marston. Love the gold and green border.

And since I'm not sewing much else these days I whipped up a star- this week bronze brown.
I actually found cute pillowcases in the thrift store so I purchased them to make little dresses. I got one made and the others will need to wait for the weekend. I  plan on photographing a bunch more dresses that I received, so I hope you are enjoying seeing them all. Each one will make a little girl feel special, I just love looking at each one.

Here's my instagram feed this week.

We've got a fun night planned for tonight. Have a safe and wonderful weekend.

  3. Love your couch quilt. It looks so cozy and inviting. I'm enjoying seeing the pillowcase dresses too. Those pillowcases were a great find. They are so colorful and pretty. I'm still waiting for cooler weather. It will be late October before Florida gets some cooler weather. Gonna be in the 90s today. Enjoy your Fall days!

  9. I've been trying to make a pattern for that string quilt from an antique one that I have. Sadly, the one I have is so poorly constructed it's not just a matter of tracing the pieces! I do love it and I won't give up. Your colors are gorgeous!
