Aurora Book Sale

Ah, okay, this isn't a book, but does anybody else remembering wearing dresses like this in grade school? No, I didn't purchase it.

The overflow of books ended up in the barn. Wow! I pulled up a chair and began browsing,

Below is a "few" purchases. Since I'm trying to get this post ready to publish while I'm gone I am not going to try and figure out why some photos are upside down! It does us good to stretch our neck anyway, right?

 Oldies but goodies!

Love to enhance the home library on a budget!!

  10. The Standard Book of Quiltmaking and Collecting was the first quilt book I received. It was a Christmas gift from my husband in 1975 I think. A lot of good info about drafting quilt patterns.

I love finding good books at yard sales, but not as many good ones.

  15. Really good finds! I d love to see more of the Folk Art Animals one and also the one that says "Country..." underneath the Humble Spirits book.

Makes me sad I got rid of all my books though, a few years ago, bitten by the stupid ''declutter bug''.

The dress is precious! Looks Holly Hobby era?
