ABC Sampler

Here's our next 2 blocks of the ABC Sampler of Cheri's. Every time I get ready to share our blocks and write a blog post I think  of the song, ABC, 123 by the Jackson 5. This video is only 1 minute and if you haven't seen the Jackson 5 in many years it's worth a look! LOL

N-O-P in one ingenious block!

I'm not thrilled with Santa's face as I resorted to machine applique on the smaller pieces.

When put together as a whole quilt, he will be just fine!

Take a look at Karen's blocks HERE.

Have a wonderful week!

  1. Just LOVE Cheri's ABC pattern........which I have, and am saving it for next year, or when the several BOM's I'm participating in are over! Hope to just work on ABC and Common Threads after that, if I can resist all the wonderrull BOM's and Sew-a-longs!!!!! So much quilting, so little time.........

  2. I agree about the pumpkin block. I never would have thought to include three letters of the alphabet in one block in the manner Cheri did. I enjoyed watching the Jackson Five singing the ABC, 123".

  10. There's something about pumpkins that I love so you have a winner with your block of them. Santa is cute too.

  11. Adorable! The NOP bock is so creative. It would make a cute Fall mini quilt even. Santa is odd, but so sweet. Wonderful project.

  12. The quilt is more adorable with each new post....I'd be hard-pressed to pick a favorite block...(but I think it's the rooster...lol). Very nice---glad you're having so much fun. Thank you for the video---that's how I prefer to remember Michael Jackson---with all the talent but without the plastic surgeries---just a sweet, talented little boy. Blessings, Lori....
