Marvelous Monday

I don't generally like Monday's but today will be marvelous! It's such a mindset isn't it? I survived babysitting! LOL I only gave the 2yo a little curdled milk! Everyone survived!!
I opted to go hiking on Sunday , but I still managed to get a few blocks sewn. I have a lot of these cut, ready to sew but here is a few more I'll add to the stack.
And binding! That means 2 quilts are close to being finished. I have labels made for them as well.

If you want to see where I hike check it out HERE.

Happy Monday quilters!!

  1. Mondays can be a challenge but it looks like you've handled it well! Love those blocks. And, don't worry about curdled milk - we all survived it!

  2. Isn't it wonderful to get out for a walk! Gives a fresh look on the day and clears the mind. My dog Gracie & I are lucky -- several bike trails join about 1/2 mile from home. We love our morning walks

  3. Every time I see your blocks I wish I was making this quilt.
A little "buttermilk" never hurt anyone. :)

  4. Oh the milk will curdle when it hits the babys tummy, you just helped the process :-)
What a weekend to get outside! And I love how your stars and patches are coming along. This will be a great one to add to your stack of quilts!

  9. I love your Lincoln quilt blocks. You have inspired me and I have added this quilt to my VERY LONG list of quilts I want to make.

  10. I started the Lincoln quilt (maybe 3 blocks) a while ago (probably I should say years) and just made a few more blocks for it recently. I know someone in my family would love this cozy, cuddly quilt! Are you making 12" blocks? They look smaller in the photo.......love sawtooth stars and yes, 9-patches too!
