And check out this stool pad. I'm not sure it would be comfy for a long time, but what a terrific and relatively easy way to cover up a boring stool top
I would have loved to close this little suitcase and ran out the door with it full of these lovely 1/2 yard cuts of Jo Morton fabrics.
There were samples hanging everywhere. Here is a looonnngggg runner designed by a local artist.
Did somebody say wool? There was no shortage at this shop!!
A lovely variety of Civil War repros with lots of little samples.
I hit 5 other quilt shops while I was away and none were worthy of photos. They weren't bad, just not necessarily my cuppa joe.
What fun you had and that shop sure looks interesting.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree...I LOVED this shop and I know I would enjoy a visit...an hour visit!! Because we are traveling right now my husband drops me off at QS along the way...I stick my head in the door and then yell "Give me 10 minutes Or 20...or whatever I "time rate" the shop! This one would be an hour!! LOVED the wool!! thanks for sharing!!

ReplyDeleteThanks for the pictures Lori! I love this shop! I haven't gone for a couple of years, though. I will have to go next time I'm at my mom's. They didn't have that much wool last time I went to visit. It's the kind of store that you have to walk around a few times to see everything.

What a neat shop, could have grabbed that suitcase too. I love seeing the various wool projects but I daren't unless it's going to be kits. Even goodies in the loo, lol.
