This year I joined a guild and found the "Package" I took home in June to make a donation quilt. So I got busy and this is what I came up with. The 2 panels were one piece and the border alphabet was in the package as well.
I just started and kept adding. It is my usual humble quilt! I didn't want to keep trimming the panels to make the 4 patches fit. I think any kid in the system would love it!
I've done a bit of camping and hiking and here are a few photos from those outings.
Up, up, up!
Down, down, down!
I hope you ae having a great week!
What a neat and beautiful photo of that dragon fly--all photos are lovely that you show--but that dragon fly is really a neat one--

Cute quilt! That last photo is terrifying, trip on your shoelace, take a wrong step and ooops, a goner. Youre a brave woman.
ReplyDeleteKudos to you for keeping your mind and body in shape to hike those kinds of steep steps with no railing!! At age 76, that is no longer a possibility for me, but I do try to walk briskly, in nature, especially woods or other quiet, scenic places, for an hour a day. Thank you for your enjoyable blog!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Gladi! Any activity, especially outside is great for mind and body!
DeleteThe kids quilt turned out great!
ReplyDeleteI was enjoying all the nature photos, until you came to the stairs. I hope you had a walking stick. Made me dizzy just looking at the photos. LOL
Adorable quilt, so bright & colorful. You're so right -- any kid would love to call it their own. I sure do love your hiking pictures. I'd love to try to tackle those steps. I'll bet the view from the top was spectacular!
ReplyDeleteYour photos are spectacular and I love the quilt. I have the same panel and now I know what to do with it!
