I had an amazing time in Walla Walla with Mary, who coordinated the details!
I arrived early enough for a little fun before the meeting.
This is how google described one of our stops:
Powered By Fabric is a private
quilting and fabric arts studio in
Eddie makes quilts in the style I love. Like this strippy quilt!
I love how she uses her space to bring the quilting community together!
Next up Stash quilt shop. Mary's favorite!
It is jammed pack with lovely fabric!
It is located in a historic old building. Look at the reproduction ceiling! Gorgeous!
Look at those darling machines at WW Sew and Vac!
Here is the guild raffle quilt that I will be winning later this year!!! LOL
It is a very active and busy guild with lots of members! YAY! I love that!
Jean F came from quite a distance and brought some amazing show and tell which included 2024 Humble Quilts quiltalong Homestead!
I love this! Too bad I didn't have someone hold that up for me. I'm a fan of the small red and white stripe print and the center panel.
Another follower Tina came to the guild meeting and brought her 2 friends. It was lovely to see them! I thought I had a photo but we much have used her camera.
I met the owner of Highland Quilts in Athena, Oregon at the guild and she asked about purchasing some of my patterns for her shop. Here is my view of the cute town in the middle of farming country! Her shop was jammed packed and was busy for a weekday morning! That is awesome! I cannot believe I didn't take any photos of the shop!
It was such a fun trip!
If your guild is looking for a trunk show or classes please consider me! I'm scheduling into 2027 and will travel or Zoom!
I'm having a great week and hope you are too!
Love the Raffle Quilt, by chance do you know the name?
