This should be easy The hard part may be deciding what fabric to use. Feel free to mix it up!

I used light shirting with small blue prints.
You need to cut nine- 2 1/2" squares (they can all be different or you can duplicate)
Then you will need ninety-six 1 1/2" squares. of the shirtings. You should have an even number of specific prints. (at least 2 should be the same)

I'm considering these my mediums.
Here is the photo from the intro- my mediums
Cut sixteen 4 1/2" squares. I have a couple of duplicates.
The print on the right is my dark. The others would have worked but I wanted all of my darks to be the same print. Cut twenty-four 4 1/2" x2 1/2 rectangles.
Who is up for a raffle?! The cozy quilt raffle is LIVE- HERE. Quilts and block have been donated and now we are raising money for Faith Seeds in Guatemala. Your "purchase" sponsors kids whose families work in the garbage dump so they can go to school and our after school program! Thank you for helping out!
My "baby" turned 40 yesterday! I was happy we were able to meet him for lunch.
It was a beautiful day but because it was so bright I couldn't see how blurry this was! I love it anyway!!
Have a great weekend!

ReplyDeleteHappy birthday, "Baby"... It’s amazing how fast the kids grow up... hard to believe, isn't it? My two turned 40 recently, too!!!
ReplyDelete... I’m off to the storage room now to dig out a few old blue shirts... the sun is shining—time for washing and ironing. I hope I have enough of them.
Warm regards and thank you
