I only staple two layers ...Yes, staples work great. I only staple two layers together and work that way. The pointy end of my Diamond Deb nail file is great for pulling up the curled edges of the staple when done. I've used embroidery floss (two strands) for my attaching the wool applique to the next layer. If my project uses more layers, then the top layer is done first, then sewn to the next using the blanket stitch.QuiltGranmahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09225951118220180796noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7554378824181841688.post-33210982754387774002019-06-22T18:13:47.693-07:002019-06-22T18:13:47.693-07:00Really cute little applique and GREAT idea to feed...Really cute little applique and GREAT idea to feed the freezer paper (remembering which side is up, of course!) into the printer to print the pieces out rather than tracing them.<br />Have a great time. Also, thank you for the tip about the freezer paper and printer! Your still life is beautiful. What thread/floss do you use for attaching your wool?
