Inspiration From Life

At every turn there was a ruin but also quilt inspiration in Italy!
Here are a few photos I'm mulling around for inspiration for my "Italy" quilt.

The next few photos were from the Vatican floor.

A random building in Florence.
Isn't that building adorable??

From our balcony in Manarola.

Our Airbnb in Rome.

Natures color combinations always work!

Look at the wine bottle label? That's got to be in indication of the fantastic trip ahead. (and it was!)

My Instagram feed for the week.

Make it a wonderful weekend!

  17. The tiles! Such excellent inspiration for future quilts! Italy has been on my wish list of places to see since I was in high school. Your pictures encourage me to make that trip happen sooner rather than later!
