I put this lovely quilt on my bed this week. The blocks were made by all of you and I assembled it similar to the Farmer's Wife quilt. My friend Randy organized it as a secret for my 50th birthday. It is a treasure!
Under the Big Top
A round robin quilt. Hand quilted by me.
A string quilt I started in a class with Gwen Marston.. I love the border which you can barely see- gold and green- perfect fall colors.
Oh my what a great collection of quilts, I must get my big top done. I still have not settled on a setting for my 6 inch blocks from Randy's sew along either...yours looks great! You have a blessed weekend too, Happy Sewing :0)
Your quilt collection is so inspiring!!! I NEED to make that last quilt, is it the Hawaiian Sunset pattern from a magazine I've been saving for years? LOLThanks for sharing the gorgeousness!
what a gorgeous grouping of quilts you've made. I especially [heart] "Under the Big top...I got as far as making only one block on that one..but plan to use it as a center for a medallion--once I get over my crush on 9-patches lol hugs, Julierose
Love your quilts and they look beautiful displayed in your home. I really need to get moving on my larger quilts so I have more to put around the house.
Love that Farmers Wife--so many details to stare at! And of course your Big Top is always one that I drool over. Wonderful how you display your quilts. I need to mix mine up more often.
Gorgeous quilts and beautifully displayed. The last quilt is exceptional, you always have such an eye for what makes an antique quilt special, and capture the look so perfectly.
All of your quilts look fabulous and I love them all! You certainly have a knack for displaying quilts to their best advantage! What is the name of the last quilt? It is really nice!
