My goal is 27 blocks a month- here is 54! Was able to work on this at my Sisters retreat.
I made one extra for 55 total so I could piece this section together.
I need to make 10 each month for the basketweave top. That was assembled at the quilt weekend too!
Looking forward to seeing yours!
Wednesday we will be sharing our Spencer Quilt blocks. I need to know how many of you will be ready. I won't do a linky if it is only a handful.
Oh my....I love them all !!
ReplyDeleteI haven’t played too much with different arrangements yet but they are fun blocks.
ReplyDeleteI love your basket weave blocks with the cheddar, they are so effective together!
ReplyDeleteLovely string zig-zag blocks, Lori...hugs, Julierose
ReplyDeleteI really love the basket weave. I need to work on mine. Hugs
ReplyDeleteLove Love, Love BOTH projects! Scrappy gorgeousness!
ReplyDeleteWhy is it that a look I love so well involves a process I don't enjoy? I could make a list--applique, strings, hexies...
Your projects are looking so good! Thanks for the motivation for this. I have a lot of scraps that need to be addressed.:)
ReplyDeleteGreat progress on both of your string quilts!
ReplyDeleteLoving both of these! I've always wanted to do that basketweave design and making a few more blocks to set aside for that can help whittle down the string bag.
ReplyDeleteAgain - a great variety of colours & patterns.
ReplyDeleteGreat string blocks - you are well on your way with both projects.
ReplyDeleteThat is lovely! Is it too late to join in? xx
ReplyDeleteSo many beautiful scraps and strings!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI didn't get any done in Feb. Will try harder in March!
