Kitsap County Quilt Show

Here is a quilt using a lot of my favorite mourning purples! I wouldn't have thought to add in the red HST but after seeing the border (next photo) I understand why she did.

I'm a fan of the Danish Nisse, which is similar to a gnome!! So stinkin' cute!

Little house quilts are as charming as ever.

Be sure to read the story below about this quilt.

What a sweet and precious family quilt.

I liked the quilting and color on this quilt.

There's a sampling of the quilts that caught my eye!

Have a wonderful weekend friends!

  2. Thanks for sharing. It's always nice to go to a quilt show from the comfort of your home! I know they look better in person though.

  4. What a lovely assortment of quilts. Thank you so much for sharing as I, on the other side of the country, will probably never be able to attend the Kitsap Quilt Show. Those purple mourning prints are just gorgeous....that tiny red flower in the border needed those red hst's! I'm off to search online for that fabric line!

  8. So much good stuff here, Lori. First, I can never get enough of those mourning purples, and the red did seem a bit of surprise until seeing it in the border print. My daughter made two of those gnome quilts in colors very different from these, and it was fun seeing someone else's take on the pattern.
Clara's Quilt just spoke to my heart. What a wonderful family treasure! Thank you for sharing that one with its story.
