Monday! Monday! Bushong Quilt

I was able to get in my sewing room the day after National Quilting day. Here is month 9. The middle of the last appliqued border.
I'll start getting the center blocks pieced. 1 is pieced, 8 are ready to assemble.

I opted outside on Saturday.
Early enough to enjoy the sunrise.
and the three Sisters.

Made one more stop at a snowed over lake. It was a lot colder at that higher elevation than I had anticipated. Still so good to get some fresh air and clear perspective.

Let's make it a good week!

  2. Lori, I follow you in Old Reader so I never miss a post with your quilts and photos. Thank you for continuing to write your blog and sharing so much with all of us. I like your hiking and landscape photos, so that I can see another part of the country--I'm in CT, in the Berkshire Hills as we say here (not mountains!). Stay well and take care.

  3. I am not a doctor not did I sleep at Holiday Inn last night, but I think that the air at the beautiful snow covered lake would heal whatever one is suffering! Glad I got to share your early morning walk (hike).

  4. Beautiful quilt and applique, perfect project for now.

Solo walks from one's home are still allowed here, the air and sunlight are good [tho today it is pouring, with an easterly gale.]

    1. If I am going to busy trails I do, but because of the recent virus I went for a sunrise hike and lesser used trails where there were very few people.
