Humble Quilts in France?

When I returned from France in April I asked the Facebook group if anyone would be interested in a Humble Quilts group textile trip to France? Before I dig any further into making this a reality I need to know if enough people are interested. Just because you tell me now you'd be interested does not mean you commit.  Shoot me off an email at HumbleQuilts@gmail.com and let me know what you think.

Here are my preliminary ideas. (very preliminary!)

I met Caroline Lecomte in Nantes and she has a lovely property and studio. She has lovely antique quilts and textiles and  is willing to do a class.

**Fall 2026 to go before or after the European Patchwork in Alsace in case you'd like to make that an add on. Smallish group 12-15 people. I'm hoping to make it somewhat affordable.

You can search my blog for more posts on this show. It takes place in small lovely villages in the Alsace region of France.

Feel free to ask any questions!

This was the little town my daughter and I stayed near the quilt show!

  1. Went to France last summer. Would love to do a "textile" version, but have a big trip planned for August 2026, and doubt I could afford to turn around and go to France afterward. I love the sound of this trip, though!!
