First Friday at Quiltworks

My daughter was here for a visit and came to First Friday with me last week. The theme is
"November Inspirations Small Quilt Show" They were great quilts, so creative, so fun!
I entered mine, and it was inspired by an antique, but was boring compared to the other quilts.

 My favorite pieced.

 My favorite appliqued

 Love this wooly one.

And mine.

It was a fun exhibit! If you happen to be in Bend stop and see them and vote for your favorites.

  2. Thankyou for sharing these Lori. I love the first one especially. Out of interest how big were they? We don't seem to be into "small" quilts here in England. The ones I normally see show, are bed quilts.
Our local (45 mins away) quiltshop hosts a 12"x12" challenge once a year, which is great fun.

  4. This is a very treat on a Monday morning. Loved it. Some of these quilts didn't look that small. Love the red and white one, you know the last picture... couldn't see the name of it. LOL!
You did an excellent job and it is not boring!!

  5. Such variety--really fun to see all of this cleverness. : )
But the traditional ones are the ones I am drawn to--the wool "Welcome", Ocean Waves and yours!

  10. The wool quilt is a fun one. I like the pink and brown Ocean Waves piece. Probably because of the fabrics and all the little triangles. And, of course, I love red and white, so I like your piece very well.
