Happy Independence Day!

I love to decorate patriotic so 4th of July is my favorite holiday!
Here's a quick peek around my house.

The little quilt on the left was designed as a sew-along by Pam Buda and the one on the right was given to me by my friend Laurie.
Randy and I did this as a sewalong. You can still find the directions on the blog.

I treasure this little signature quilt that a few readers made for me.

My husband got this poster from ebay and the frame at a thrift store and gave this me a few Christmases ago. I love it and the work he went through to find it all and assemble it.

I haven't made any dolls in awhile, but she is one of my favorites.
I got this trunk years and years ago (not quite antique or vintage!) but I just love it. It sits at my entry way and it's a good place to hide stuff, but still have it easy to get to.

I'm hoping to do some sewing today. I hope you get to relax, enjoy family, food and summer!

Happy Independence Day!

  9. Love to see your decorations! I feel the same way. I've done some quilting and some un-quilting! We'll be with our son & grandson today and then fire works in our culdesac.

  10. What beautiful displays! I love the fun touch of the Raggedy Ann in the bucket! How thoughtful of your husband to pay attention to what you love and then find something special! Enjoy your Independence Day! (I also love that you can display these items for Memorial Day, Flag Day and Independence Day. I keep saying that I am going to spend a whole year making patriotic items! )
