Sajou Quiltalong Part 2

Ready for Part 2? 

Your center should measure 8 1/2" square. If it doesn't then you will need to make adjustments.                It's fine- you can do it!
We'll say it is 8 1/2". I love the stripe and am so happy I put it where I did. Obviously I want you to use whatever you want.
Cut 2 strips 1" x 8 1/2"  Sew to the two opposite sides on your center piece. Press.
Cut 2 strips 1" x9 1/2" and sew to the opposite sides, press. Admire your little block.

For the triangles you will need to cut 2 squares 7 1/4" then cut once on the diagonal. You can oversize this as well, especially if your center wasn't 8 1/2". Your center with the red triangles should measure 13 1/4".

For the next border cut four (4) 13 1/4"x 1 1/2" strips. Sew two strips to opposite sides.
for the corner squares cut four (4) 1 1/2" squares. Sew these to the ends of your 13 1/4" strips, press, then sew to your block. Hang up on design wall and admire your work!
