Diane Knott did the quilting after my basting/quilting fiasco. When I first saw her suggestion, I thought the pantograph looked a bit modern but I think it actually gives it a bit of a cross hatch look, so I'm happy with it.
My backing is rarely one piece of fabric. In this case it is 3.

Love you fun Stars in a Time Warp. I have a few blocks that I saved. I used a few for my Wyoming family's new home. I like the closeups. It was a fun time learning from Barbara about the reproduction CW fabrics.
ReplyDeleteThat's the thing with social media...we all have our opinions and it's a forum for sharing them. I'm glad the comments on the green made made your choice more special to you. I collect red and green antique quilts and, in isolation, many of the greens look like they came from the palette of a 60's pop artist. I just love them! Your Stars quilt turned out great. You must have learned a lot along the way on that one!

ReplyDeleteOhhhhhh it's terrific! Love the cheddar, the setting, etc. and the binding - just the whole quilt. The quilting suits it. That was a great series of lessons and we all learned so much. Ha ha, love the green.
