Welcome to the Quilter's Meet & Greet

There's a little something different going on here today! I have been asked to be a part of  the 2019 Online Quilters Meet & Greet hosted by Benita of Victoriana Quilt Designs, which starts today and runs through the whole month of  September.
Click the photo above or HERE to meet new bloggers!

I think it is a good opportunity to meet new bloggers and possibly introduce a few new readers to Humble Quilts.

I hope you'll read to the end and see how to win BIG prizes!!
I am the face behind Humble Quilts. I took my first quilt class from Jean Wells at The Stitchin' Post in 1993 and have been quilting ever since!! I love to reproduce quilts from the Civil War era and making small quilts is my way to test out different color combinations or techniques.

This little quilt is one of my recent favs! I made this to commemorate the total eclipse of the sun in 2017. My town was one of the areas that experienced "Totality", hence the name of the little quilt. This one was much more difficult than most little quilts I make.

I started blogging in February 2009- wow! 10 years now! I have a facebook group as well.  You can find it HERE.  I love the encouragement we share and receive through quilting and new friendships!

If your guild is interested in seeing more of my quilts I am available to lecture. Check it out HERE

Every blog you visit will give you a chance to win the grand prize! Click HERE to enter or click the photo below.  (Keep reading for my personal giveaway!)

And if you'd like a chance to win a little something from ME, leave a comment here. If you are a no-reply blogger and do not leave your email address, you cannot win. :(

Here is a little roll of fat-eighths in wonderful browns, a pocket color wheel, a button lanyard, and Quiltfolk Issue 7.

If you are a new reader I hope you'll leave a message and let me know you found me through Victoriana Quilt Designs.

  29. Hi! I 've been reading your blog since you began--10 years! And have enjoyed every post. You influenced me so much--reopened my eyes to making small quilts and gave me the courage and incentive to make that first large applique quilt back in 2012.[Lynda Hall Porch quilt]. Thanks for being such a positive reliable blogger, it means a lot to solo quilters like me especially.
