What a lovely group yesterday that I spoke to!
It was nice I was able to drive and bring a few more of my larger quilts.
The trunk show was Reruns, Quilts Inspired by the Past.
I start with reproductions from 1940
and work my way back through time.
Ohio Miami Valley Quilt
An English quilt (repro of course)
Abe Lincoln museum quilt designed by Barbara Brackman. (someone was asking me about that pattern the other day and I cannot find your email) In this photo I was showing a block I'd used my sons boxer shorts fabric! Anything is fair game to quilters!!! LOL
I'm hoping to teach later this year for the guild although I could tell there wasn't much left to teach most of these ladies and gentlemen!!
I'd love to teach at your guild! Could you please pass the word to your guild? My next 2 guilds meetings are in Alabama and California.
I hope you are having a great week!
Hope to see you in Walla Walla next May!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the photos from your show! I have the Lincoln quilt book.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a lovely meeting place for a guild. I got a laugh about the boxer shorts.
ReplyDeleteYou sure are getting around the country for guild meetings. Sounds like fun.
Love seeing all these photos of your quilts!
ReplyDeleteYour quilts are wonderful, I know your talks are such a big hit always. Bringing quilts must be hard when you're flying, they are often so heavy.
