First Friday at Quiltworks

Quiltworks has a wonderful gallery this month of quilts from past exhibitors. I made a point of going to the First Friday event.
My friend, Phyllis, had her lovely sampler to share.
You can click on the descriptions to enlarge and read.

Gorgeous applique sampler!!

Loved the story on this one.

This one was really sweet too.

And my primitive Sweet Land of Liberty quilt.

I hope you'll stop by Quiltworks if you'll be coming for the Outdoor Quilt Show in Sisters.

Have a fantastic week!

First Friday Exhibit

Before my guild presentation in Bend on Monday I was able to finally stop by and see the exhibit at Quiltworks!!

Look close and you'll see some crazy bead work!
Here is the rest of that quilt!
The featured quilter info above. She admits to liking many styles and wants to learn everything!!

This one really makes me smile!

She really does like a lot of different styles! They don't look like they would be
 made by the same person.
This one was made by Patti Stewart! I love it so much! (story below)

One of my recent quilts will be featured in the July exhibit! I guess you'll all need to wait and see which one it is.

Have a wonderful Wednesday!

PS Despite our gallant effort, baby blue bird didn't make it.

First Friday at Quiltworks

This month at Quiltworks there was just one exhibit- One Block Wonders, which is the same as Stack and Whack, isn't it?

And, if you get the magazine, Quilt Sampler, Quiltworks is in the most current issue! I'm super excited for Marilyn as she does a lot of good for the community. It is nice that she is recognized for that.
I got the labels and the quilts confused, so without further ado, here are the quilts.

Love the 2 colored border on this one.

And this Christmas one begged for a closer view.

I think the colors got me on this one. My favorite of them all!

Have you made a One Block Wonder or Stack and Whack? For me, no, I haven't made either and don't feel a burning desire to make one either.
