Sisters Quilt Show

Hopefully you are not tired of reading blogs with Sisters Quilt show quilts. These are a small sampling of lovely quilts that "Ring my Bell" in one way or another.

Such a different very up close and personal.  Pretty amazing!
I really adore the quilting in the border.
What a fun and quirky quilt by Sue Spargo.
Fun quilt. But what I really liked was the unique border.

I love the border fabric on this one continues with the theme. 

Another cool border treatment.
Cityscape of Portland with the reflection on the Willamette River.
I could tell immediately that this was Haystack Rock on the Oregon coast. 


My friend Phyllis orphan block sampler quilt. 

My friend Bill's (Wonkyworld)"Oregon July"  in the manland exhibit. Love the pictorial quilting!

Such a fun variety of quilts. Of course I love the antiques but these spoke to me in one way or another. I hope you liked them too.

  6. I love seeing more quilts. Everyone has different likes and takes photos of different quilts so nice to see more of them and these are all beautiful, I do appreciate art quilts and something I would love to do.

  9. I never tire of seeing the fun quilts through your camera lens! Not quite like being there but very close without the HEAT! I should make an Orphan sampler. Randy says you guys are for your Sister's Challenge.

  12. A very interesting group of quilts. A little something for everyone. My favorite is easily Phyllis's orphan block sampler quilt. It's an interesting jigsaw puzzle to make everything fit together. Her blocks all look wonderful together.

  13. That is what I love about quilting, there is beauty (and awe) in all styles of quilting, antique, prim, modern, civil war repo fabrics, and brights.

  15. I've enjoyed them too. Those borders are truly difference and fun. Love Sue Spargo's quilt and the one right after with the applique medallion WOW. So happy I was able to view all these little treasures and it's thanks to you. I am SOOO grateful.
