October First Friday

I will have a quilt at Quiltworks for November and had to bring mine in. It was a good opportunity to see October's quilts before they changed. I"m so glad I got to see them and share them with you.
The featured quilter was Cathy Moen. Wow! Great talent!

I hope you enjoyed seeing these as much as I did. What a great variety of quilts she makes!

  1. What a delightful use of color and I also liked her machine quilting that added to the visual impact of her quilts. I'd pick the first one as my fave.

  14. Really enjoyed her quilts - she uses a great color palette and I love how her quilts have a southwestern feel to them! Thank you so much for the quilt show this morning! Your flag quilt is looking great, and I hope you find the buttons. I used the chicken pattern in the flags book in my Audra's Iris Garden quilt as a substitute for the cats. I'm so much more a chicken person than a cat person, so was pleased that they fit the space so well...
