First Friday at Quiltworks

The featured quilter this month at Quiltworks is Phyllis Van Etten. As you can see her quilting is diverse and it is always fun to see which quilts are from her early days of quilting and which are more recent.

Her husband is a fan of Amish quilts.

This one really took my breath away!

This was such a wonderful personal quilt.

She made 2 of these for 2 twin beds she has in a room! Great star setting.

Tomorrow I'll show the group quilts. What a fun challenge they had!

  4. Dashing Through the Snow blows my sox off too! It almost looks as if she painted the scene and then appliqued the window over it. Whatever she did, it is stunning!

    1. Hi Fae, This is a town event to celebrate artists. Many cities/towns have them and Bend celebrates their's the first Friday of the month. Quiltworks highlights a new quilter and group and has a reception with food and spirits.
