I finally finished getting the binding sewn down on the Lone Cabin quilt.
You can get info on the pattern/book HERE.
It is an oldie by Red Wagon.
Many machine quilters don't like to do fan quilting, so I sent it out to a new person. Get info HERE.
If you do fan quilting on your long arm, I'd love to support a Humble Quilt reader. Please contact me at humblequilts@gmail.com
I took the quilt to the PJ party at Sisters to show Carrie, since I started it at our quilt retreat last year. I'm looking forward to sewing up a storm this year!
Let's have a great week!
I love this quilt! And the fans are a perfect feel with the pattern. I will look forward to this year's quilts too.
ReplyDeleteThe Baptist Fan quilting perfectly compliments your Lone Cabin quilt. I find the fans actually work for a lot of quilts. Love it. Lori!
ReplyDeleteThis pantograph is better than the one my long armer used!
ReplyDeleteI really love how this came together Lori!! What is the final size? The angels are so pretty...
ReplyDeleteNice work on this..hugs, Julierose
Really great quilt! I love fan quilting and it is perfect for your project. I wonder why some longarmers don't like doing Fans? My quilter has never complained, she does two, maybe three sizes.
ReplyDeleteLovin your quilt, especially that cabin block.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteI opened my blog today for the first time in YEARS and I was so happy to see you are still blogging :) It's time I started again.
ReplyDeleteGreat! I'd love to know who wrote this!!
DeleteI love this quilt.
DeleteI agree with Susie that fan quilting looks great on just about any quilt. I have done it on large quilts, like the Flags of the Revolution quilt, but it is a pain to do it on a domestic machine and takes longer than a lot of other quilting. The quilt is adorable!
ReplyDeleteThanks Gladys! You are a whizz with the machine quilting!
