Sewing Too!!

I actually have been getting some sewing done lately too!!

Here's my Blind Man's Fancy blocks. I brought this along with me on the road trip and was able to get in a couple of hours of uninterrupted stitching!! I think I made good progress.
Here's was April's Vicksburg block.

This is for a different project I'm part of. Can anybody picture Elvis out front with a group of lady dancers in bathing suits? Or how about a lounge chair drinking sangrias? What a wild crazy Kaffe piece of fabric.
I have appliqued 1 more house for my House Party and have another one almost completed. I have my Wool Crazy block #2 base ready to whip stitch together and I have started handquilting Strawberry Fields!! So, feeling pretty good about the roll I'm on.

Yep, I can imagine Elvis and Ann Margaret dancing in front of the Kaffe Fasset hut. LOL

Ooooohhhh, tell me about Vicksburg please! Is this a book, a BOM, or a pattern? Your blocks are all gorgeous but this is the one I'd like to make. I'm not as good with points as you are - Blind Man's Fancy is wonderful!

Sounds like you are on a roll with all your projects. I am behind on Vicksburg and I haven't started the Wool Crazy project at all.

Wow, you got a ton done!! Good for you. You are doing great to keep up with the Vicksburg blocks. That's going to be a great quilt, I think. Are you going to make all four blocks of the Wool Crazy quilt? I haven't started mine yet.

What progress; you've been busy! The Blind Man's Fancy is going to be tremendous. Judy Martin had an example in one of her really early books, and I fell in love with it then. It's exciting to see someone making that pattern. Your blocks are beautiful!

Wow - you've been busy! I really like your new blog header quilt! I can't wait to see your quilted Strawberry fields. Your Blindman's Fancy blocks look great too - how many blocks are you making?

Those BMF blocks are wonderful, they look great! Have you changed the direction of some of the triangles on the top two blocks on the left on purpose? I love the funky colors on that pink house!

Busy lady, beautiful blocks -- congrat's on all the progress!

Your design wall is looking lovely.
I love the BMF blocks and the applique ones look fabulous together now you've got a few done.
The last one is the meverick, lol. Great house block. I have a friend who lives in a pink house.

Everything looks great and you sound very busy. I know it is hard not to jump from thing to thing and then still start something new. I just did today again...lol. Curiosity killed the cat so I had to try out a Japanese folded patchwork block and now I am going to make a new table quilt. I say it is that little quilting devil who makes us do it all. LOL!

Hugs from Holland ~
Heidi... who should be making more Strawberry Fields blocks instead of reading blogs...
