Here's the original.
Here's my version.
I'd love to see your version!! If you do not have a blog to link up, send me a photo and I'll add it. Everyone who links or sends a photo gets there name in a hat for a drawing. I haven't determined the fabric yet, but I will soon.
I love these! I am not a quilter, but these remind me of an old, very much loved quilt that my mother made out of old clothes. Thankfully, I ended up with it when she passed away. It is frail, and worn, but it is special. Found you by way of libbyquilter.
ReplyDeleteGreat work!
its going to be fun seeing all the different versions!

Hi Lori, I loved to sew 'Abundance' very much! You'll find my version here: http://quilttales.blogspot.fi/2013/02/abundance.html
ReplyDeleteHi Lori, Thanks so much for hosting this quiltalong! I had a great time making my little version, and just updated my Jan. 30 post to add today's linky party link! Now to see everyone else's!
ReplyDeleteIt's so much fun to see all the versions - thanks for doing the linky party!
ReplyDeleteI love seeing the little quilts on parade. Thanks for this sweet, very doable QAL, Lori! : )
ReplyDeleteGood idea. I enjoyed seeing various versions of this charming quilt!
ReplyDeleteNo-blog Cheryl's version is lovely! I'm wondering if it evolved into a larger piece due to numerous attempts at interpreting the single block?
ReplyDeleteThanks Jan! The reason it's bigger is because I wanted it to use on my kitchen table and I have so much stash I'm really trying to get some used up! (My stash doesn't look much smaller though!)

It's really nice to see the block repeated. (I know all about the impossible challenge of stash reduction!)

Oh, I'm disappointed! Yesterday in the middle of the day I looked and it said 23 hours left before the linky closed, and now it's closed! Well, here is my little flimsy - if anyone cares to see it.
