Weekday Sewing

Here's the top (pre-outer borders) that I'm making.

To make this quilt top quicker I've taken over our downstairs. That way I can keep an eye on the dog or dinner and still sew!
In between the lodgy Country Comforts I sewed these bindings together.

And then got them on!

Trying to stay focused and get the commissioned quilt top finished by the weekend!
I hope you are able to sew this week.

  1. Love the moose quilt. Is it all homespun and wool? You are using one of my favorite fabrics for binding, the red stripe. You are getting a lot accomplished. Thank you for sharing.

Must be a good feeling to have those bindings on the little quilts all ready to stitch down.

  7. Wonderful quilt and I may have to start doing that if I want to get any quilting done.
My room is too packed and tempting for a puppy mouth.

  9. I like the cabin block best. This quilt would make a nice quilt for a man or someone with a cabin or someone who wishes they had a cabin.
I have not sewn yet today but have been looking at patterns and fabric in my sewing room.

  13. What is the name of the lodge quilt and where is it available for purchase? It is wonderful, I was looking for something like that for my DD and SIL when they got married. It would have been perfect. You are doing a great job on it, it is looking good. Looks like a lot of feet up time in front of the TV with all those pretty little quilts to bind!
