Stars in a Time Warp

Here it is! It isn't ironed but I was still excited to get this part together.
One of my favorite blocks.
My sewing room was a bit of a mess. I didn't lay the stars out but just started sewing.

  8. Aren't diagonal sets amazing? They do seem to take over the entire house while you are trying to lay the out! Your quilt turned out just beautiful. Your use of the yellow setting squares is lovely. My Stars in a Time Warp is one of my favorite projects of 2015, maybe ever. I really enjoyed working on it.

  9. I love this, but it's interesting how the background color changes from photo to photo. Makes me want to see it in person! I would love to see more of your quilting room.

  11. Oh, I admire your ability to sew up the rows and put the rows together without having to have the blocks laid out and play with the arrangement to make sure like colors aren't together. I wish I could purge myself of that need to control and just let things happen, like this. I think they look so much more vintage your way, and I love that! Nice job, Lori!

  13. Lori, it looks great! Congratulations. Love the cheddar alternating blocks. This is the same setting I am planning on using. It is on my UFO list for 2016. I have both of those green fabrics in your block, in fact was on the hunt for the fabric in the star points. Looks great!!!

  14. Good for you Lori....I too love blocks on point..changes the dynamics of the quilt entirely. This week I will definitely dig out
my time warps stars. Maybe I need to consider cheddar for setting the blocks together..but wait, I need to make quite a few more stars first..
