Here's a fun summery quilt designed by Jan Patek that I am going to start soon. Anybody interested in sewing along? It looks like it is on sale for $28.00 HERE.
I found mine on Ebay. You may want to check there too.
To many UFOs right now for a sew-a-long, plus I'm moving next month so have started packing the sewing room. The pattern is very cute, but I'll be watching everyone else sewing along.
Lizzy to self: So fun! You know you want to!" Self: You don't have time! And you can never keep up." Lizzy: ''But it's so cute! Flags! Whales...! On sale too!"
oh dear. a quandary. Will you space it out over 10 months?
I ordered the pattern yesterday as soon as I saw it was on sale--I've been wanting it for a long time. I will try to sew along, but I also said that about Quilt Like an Eagle--sigh...
Oh how you tempt me to go down the slippery slope of a new start.......... but I must resist, I'm still working on my Sacagawea sampler from a few years ago along with a few boxes that contain my 2016 UFO projects. I LOVE the bicycle, so super cute.
It is so cute, but I won't be making it now. I have 2 other patterns that you made in the past that I want to make, so maybe I'll start one of those. They are A Little Porch Time and Flags of the Revolution. Since I already have some fabric set aside for the Flags quilt, I better start on that (when I have time)! I feel pretty good starting something because I have finished a few UFOs lately. :-)
Beautiful design that is indeed very Summerlicious! lol! But, I have too many projects in the works to start another one... please share your progress with us! :-)
I have too many projects going... but... based on the fun (and helpful deadlines) of Flags of the American Revolution ... I have ordered the pattern and I'm in! Couldn't find it on Ebay, ordered directly from Jan Patek's website. When do you start? Depending on when the pattern arrives, I might be playing catch-up.

I haven't seen this one, but I love it. However I have far too many UFOs to even contemplate it. It will be fun to watch yours grow though.
ReplyDeleteIf I wasn't determine to finish Porch Time by Lynda Hall that was started in 2011 I'd join you. Will be fun to watch what fabrics you chose.

I was pretty tempted to buy the pattern when I saw it was on sale. But how fast are you planning to sew it?? ;-)
ReplyDeleteI am really tempted to watch as you make yours, so I think that is exactly what I will do! *LOL* It is very cute.

ReplyDeleteVery tempting Lori, but I'm in the thick of another BOM that has 24 pieced stars after I finish my current months appliqué. I look forward to seeing your spin on the design.
