Winners!! My Trash...Your Treasure...

I spent the better part of yesterday cleaning and organizing my sewing room. That means I am ready to part with a few things. Hopefully my trash is your treasure...

This little bag is supposed to hold a book and has little pockets under the bird house. It's also a bit of a grab bag since I have put things inside.....Surprise!!

The Grab Bag book holder was won by Cornfield Quilter.
I was kidding myself when I thought I'd make Birds of a Feather. I believe all the patterns are here although I am not taking the time to check.

Birds of a Feather was won by Sharon Mallow Woerz.
The same friend who gave me the red and white bear paw quilt surprised me by including these in the box. I know I will never do anything with them. Maybe you will? I think there is 15 of them.
Dresden blocks were won by Jay in NE.
A bag of Robin Pandolph scraps. Most of these are older, the soft washed out looking ones. Big pieces and little pieces.. And look..a checkerboard already pieced!!
Robin Pandolph scraps were won by Nancy near Philly.

Please email me with your addresses and I'll get these mailed right away. Thank you all for helping me clean...now I've got some new blogs to read!!

PS Thank you for pointing out the errors in RRCR. I've already sewn the rows together, so I will not be taking anything out, but I will be more careful as I get the rest of the quilt together.

Leave me a comment and let me know what you'd like to have. You can tell me you'd like all of them, or just one of them, or two.....I'm usually up about 5 AM pacific time and I will post in the morning who gets what. This is a quickie. I want this pile out of my neat sewing room.
This is not in the giveaway!! 1/3 of the mystery quilt from Bonnie at Quiltville. They are not sewn together yet so they look a little wonky. I'm going to have to work hard to get the top together and be ready for borders on Friday.

Later this week I'll be posting a photo and fabric requirement for the doll quiltalong. It's called Midnight Stars.

Wow!
You have some fun stuff to give away! I would have requested those dresden plates. I am sure they are going to a good home!
This is the second post I saw on Bonnie's mystery quilt. I will be watching the progress. Looks like a lot of fun!
Happy Sewing!

I would be happy with anything, lol.
I love fabrics and can always use more to add to my stash. Love your bag too, beautiful work on it. Think that would be nice for someone who doesn't sew, so they can have something special, that they can't make.
Love patterns that I can use in different ways, so birds of a feather is a nice one. I am easy to please;)

I love your color choise on the mystery quilt, fantastic.

A very happy new year to you and your family.

I'd choose the Robin Pandolph scraps. They are colors I wouldn't normally buy and it would be a way to try them! I've done the same thing and I'm going to have a give away in the next few days.

You're RRCB looks fabulous. I would be happy with anything. Thanks for the opportunity.

Your mystery quilt looks great, I enjoyed watching the mystery unfold on Bonnie's blog. I would love to help you with your housework and take the Robyn Pandolph scraps off your hands. The little book bag has appeal too. Happy and creative New Year to you!

Nancy, Near Philadelphia said...

I could make good use of the Pandolph scraps.

Julie in the Barn said...

I'd love the scraps... you know me, never saw a scrap I didn't love. I'm just floored by your Bonnie Mystery. I was chicken to join in although I've saved all the instructions. All those HST scared me off. Looking forward to the new quilt along. Sadly, I'll be gone for awhile so can't do it right away. But I'll be watching.

This is the time to move stuff along, isn't it! I need to take stock and do the same thing! -- so don't include me in the give-away! LOL I have too much already!! :-) I popped over to Get To Goal, another way you'll be encouraging me this year, as I just joined WW-Online. I'm grateful for all the ways you inspire me, Lori!

Love your mystery quilt. Before you sew your rows together check the second block down on the left, the half square triangles on one side are on backwards. Ask me how many I had to take off and flip???

It looks beautiful!!

Linda said...

LOVE the grab bag!!

Your Mystery is gorgeous and the furthest along than any I've seen so far. You are doing an awesome job keeping up! Love the scraps you chose to use!!

Your little bag is calling my name. I love the mystery quilt. I'd only seen the strip blocks so far and was wondering where it was going. Lovely!

Melva said...

Dresdens Dresdens Dresdens....I love them so much. They would be perfect for me.

Sharyn Mallow Woerz said...

I like how your mystery blocks are shaping up! This is my first mystery and I'm really enjoying it. I'm one of the (idiots) making two :)

I would dearly love to trade you something for the birds patterns. I've had birds on the brain for two or three months and have been combing patterns for something that really features appliquéd birds, and not just one or two.

All the best and happy new year, Sharyn

I would love to give your orphan dresdens a home. I love making something new out of something old! Happiest of New Years to you!

Wendy said...

Your blocks are fantastic. Wasn't this fun, I've posted mine as well.

Ann Marie said...

Only mentioning this because if you care it's easier to fix now than when the top is together, but two of the blocks for RRCB have a set of triangles going the wrong way. The block in the upper left and the one right under it.

I was thinking of making my version an official UFO, but I'm reconsidering after seeing yours.

Don't enter me in any drawings. I have a sewing room of my own that needs cleaning!

Cathi said...

I'd he love to give the grab bag or the pandolph scraps a home in Ireland...my parents live in Bend, so no shipping costs!

MJinMichigan said...

Love how your RRCB is turning out.
The Robyn Pandolph scraps would be ny first choice since they would work well with the other pieces of her prints that I have left from a quilt I made as a gift. The Birds of a Feather would be my second choice since I love everything by Blackbird Designs.

ranette said...

LOL...well I hauled stuff away from my room last week so I'm not really interested in your stuff, but I love, love, love your mystery blocks. Very pretty!

Kristy said...

I think the dresden plates would be special, as well as the Robin Pandolf fabric. Fun, Fun fun! I already made the Birds of A Feather Quilt.

Nice of you to be offering such pretty 'castaways'. I've been cleaning and trying to make more room in my little sewingroom also, but think I would have room in a bin for the scraps...yummy colors.
Your RRCB is lovely!

just got home from work and saw the posting. If I could choose, the Robin Pandolph scraps would be great. I took a class several years ago with Robin & have loved her fabric lines ever since. I am making some scrap quilts for a project and these would be perfect.
Love the Birds quilt pattern too. I have never seen that one before.
I am sure we all could follow your lead and clean out some, good for you.

Love the roll roll Cotton boll quilt getting together, I have a lot to catching up to do, but it will have to wait until I finished sewing down a binding of a quilt I want to give to someone very special, very ill...
As for the stash, lovely projects, but thanks, I have enough of my own to finish! Though I can't think of parting with them, I think you are very brave!
